General Questions

An Iraq eVisa is an electronic visa that allows foreign nationals to enter Iraq for tourism, business, or transit purposes. It's processed online and eliminates the need to visit an embassy or consulate. The eVisa is linked electronically to your passport and allows single entry into Iraq.

Citizens of most countries require an Iraq eVisa to enter Iraq. Some countries have visa-free access or visa on arrival arrangements. Check our visa eligibility page to see if your country requires an eVisa.

We offer several types of Iraq eVisa:
  • Visit eVisa (15 days) - For short tourism visits
  • Ordinary eVisa (30 days) - For tourism and business
  • Transit Visa (3 days) - For airport transit
  • Business eVisa (30 days) - For business purposes
  • Urgent/Super Urgent - Expedited processing options

Application Process

The application process is simple:
  1. Complete the online application form
  2. Upload required documents
  3. Pay the visa fee securely online
  4. Submit your application
  5. Wait for processing
  6. Receive your approved eVisa via email
Start Application

Once submitted, applications cannot be edited. However, if you notice an error, contact our support team immediately. Minor corrections may be possible before processing begins. For major errors, you may need to submit a new application.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and secure online payment methods. All transactions are processed through encrypted, secure payment gateways to protect your financial information.

Required documents include:
  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
  • Passport-size photograph (recent, white background)
  • Travel itinerary or flight bookings
  • Hotel reservation or accommodation proof
  • Bank statements (last 3 months)
  • Travel insurance (recommended)

Passport photo requirements:
  • Recent photo (taken within last 6 months)
  • White or light-colored background
  • Face clearly visible, looking directly at camera
  • No glasses, hats, or head coverings (except religious)
  • Digital format: JPEG or PNG
  • Minimum resolution: 600x600 pixels
  • File size: Maximum 2MB

Processing & Timeline

Processing times vary by service level:
  • Standard Processing: 3-5 business days
  • Urgent Processing: 24-48 hours (+$50)
  • Super Urgent Processing: 12-24 hours (+$100)
Processing times exclude weekends and Iraqi public holidays. We recommend applying at least 1 week before your travel date.

Your approved eVisa will be sent to your email address as a PDF attachment. Print a copy to present at Iraqi immigration upon arrival. The eVisa is also linked electronically to your passport in the immigration system.

Airport Guide

Iraq eVisa extensions are possible but must be done through Iraqi immigration authorities while in Iraq. Contact the Residency Directorate in the city where you're staying. Extension fees and requirements vary. We recommend applying for the appropriate visa duration initially.
